زمینه و هدف: مادران کودکان با ناتوانی هوشی، بیشتر درمعرض مشکلات جسمی و روانی قرار دارند؛ بنابراین پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی تأثیر آموزش گروهی ارتقای معنویت بر بهزیستی روان‌شناختی، طرد و پذیرش فرزند در مادران کودکان با ناتوانی هوشی انجام شد.
روش‌بررسی: پژوهش حاضر در قالب طرحی آزمایشی با پیش‌آزمون، پس‌آزمون و پیگیری همراه با گروه گواه بود. با روش نمونه‌گیری دردسترس ۳۶ نفر از مادران کودکان با ناتوانی هوشی انتخاب شدند و به‌صورت تصادفی در گروه آزمایش و گروه گواه گمارش شدند. مقیاس بهزیستی روان‌شناختی (ریف، ۱۹۹۵) و مقیاس طرد و پذیرش کودکان استثنایی (وحیدی، ۱۳۸۷) در مراحل پیش‌آزمون، پس‌آزمون و پیگیری برای دو گروه اجرا شد. برنامهٔ آموزش گروهی ارتقای معنویت در یازده جلسۀ هفتاددقیقه‌ای به‌صورت گروهی (هفته‌ای دو جلسه) و سه جلسۀ نوددقیقه‌ای اجرا شد. تجزیه‌و‌تحلیل داده‌ها ازطریق آزمون‌‌های تحلیل واریانس با اندازه‌گیری مکرر و تحلیل واریانس بین-درون‌گروهی مختلط با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخهٔ ۲۵ در سطح معناداری ۰٫۰۵ صورت گرفت.
یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد بین دو گروه آزمایش و گواه در متغیرهای بهزیستی روان‌شناختی و طرد و پذیرش فرزند در مراحل پس‌آزمون و پیگیری تفاوت معناداری وجود داشت (۰٫۰۰۱>p)؛ یعنی گروه آزمایش در مرحلهٔ پس‌آزمون در ابعاد بهزیستی روان‌شناختی و پذیرش فرزند میانگین بیشتر و در طرد فرزند میانگین کمتری درمقایسه با گروه گواه به‌دست آورد. همچنین تغییرات ایجادشده در مرحلهٔ پیگیری پایدار بود.
نتیجه‌گیری: براساس یافته‌های پژوهش، آموزش گروهی ارتقای معنویت بر افزایش بهزیستی روان‌شناختی و افزایش پذیرش فرزند و کاهش طرد فرزند در مادران دارای کودک ناتوانی هوشی مؤثر است.
