Background: considering the importance of family foundation and since sexual issues are one of the important components for having a lively and stable life.
 Objectives: the purpose of this research is the effectiveness of the sexual health training package on the quality of sexual life of working newly married couples in Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences in 2022-2023.
Methods: The research method was semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The research population of this study included newly married couples of Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences. In order to select a statistical sample using the purposeful sampling method, 40 couples from the city of Kermanshah were selected to extract the components of sexual health and to examine the effect of the independent variable (10 couples and 10 couples for the control group). They were randomly placed in experimental and control groups. Subjects in both groups, before and after the training, answered questionnaires on the quality of women's sexual life (Simond et al., 2005) and the quality of men's sexual life (Rosen, 1997).
Results: The results of multivariate covariance analysis showed that the sexual health educational intervention had a significant effect on the quality of sexual life of newly married couples working in the University of Medical Sciences (P=0.001).
Conclusions: Therefore, it can be concluded that the educational package of sexual health can be considered by psychologists and counselors in premarital counseling and family counseling in order to increase the quality of sexual life.
